ABOUT SWING OUT SAVANNAH:
Swing Out Savannah debuted for the first time in 2012 and has been a featured event in Savannah ever since. The weekend of workshops and social dances gives our local club members a chance to engage with and learn from experienced dancers from other areas. Travelers will enjoy the combination of Savannah's picturesque backdrop, food, hospitality and dance with some amazing people.
ABOUT SCAD SWING DANCE CLUB:
SCAD Swing Dance Club has been one of SCAD's largest clubs for more than 10 years and is the primary swing dancing host in the Savannah area. We welcome dancers from all backgrounds and skill levels to gather to continue the tradition of swing dancing. Our friendly and fun atmosphere keeps our members coming back, and the club is a great place to make new friends and relationships (and then get ice cream at Leopold's). We hold lessons and social dances every week of the SCAD school year and are open to students and the public! Lessons are usually free (unless we are featuring a guest instructor). Check out of facebook page for weekly updates on lesson plans and locations!
